Chapter 32- THE SISTER WHO FINALLY CHOSE A SIDENatalie entered wearing only a sweater over her dinner dress.

Blood ran from a cut above her eyebrow.
Emma rushed toward her, but Natalie raised one hand.
“We have less than a minute.”
“What happened?”
“Grant.”
She pulled a flash drive from inside her sleeve.
“He caught me downloading the security footage.”
Mr. Reeves looked through the curtain.
Two police vehicles had stopped outside Grant’s house. Another car was turning onto our street.
Natalie pushed the drive into my palm.
“Everything is on there. The transfers, the forged contracts, Mom’s voice recordings.”
“You knew?”
“I knew something was wrong. I didn’t know they were using your identity until last month.”
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
“Because I was a coward.”
Her voice cracked, but she did not look away.
“Grant threatened to take my sons. Mom told me you would never fight back.”
A vehicle door slammed outside.
Natalie looked at Emma.
