Warren changed several policies.
No athlete would receive informal exceptions simply because he sold tickets.
Complaints about threats toward staff, partners or other fighters would be documented rather than dismissed as “personal drama.”
Repeat behavior would trigger review.
The rules did not mention Megan.
She insisted on that.
“I don’t want a Megan Rule.”
Warren nodded.

Ray heard about it through someone else.
He smiled.

Returned to work full-time.
Continued training twice a week.
Her coach asked whether she wanted to spar.
Megan said no.

Her training partner stepped away immediately.
“You good?”
Megan nodded after several seconds.
“Yeah.”
Nobody mocked her.
Nobody told her to toughen up.
Nobody grabbed her to prove she should not be scared.
That tiny interaction affected her more than any dramatic victory could.
She told Ray afterward.
“He stopped when I froze.”
Ray looked confused.
“Of course.”
Megan smiled sadly.
“Exactly.”
Respect had once seemed extraordinary because Dustin taught her to expect the opposite.
