“And?”

Ashlynn closed her eyes.
“Thank you.”
Brooke started crying.
“Gregory still says Dad made him into this.”
“What do you say?”
“I think Dad taught him.”
Ashlynn waited.
Brooke continued.
“And Greg learned.”
That was the family distinction nobody had been willing to make before.
