I provided the police with the security footage, medical records, photographs, damaged camera, and Rachel’s conflicting statements.
I also authorized David to share the financial information with the North Carolina Attorney General’s consumer-protection division if investigators requested it through appropriate channels.
The decision was not revenge.
It was the end of secrecy.
Trent responded by naming me publicly.
He recorded a forty-minute livestream calling me a manipulative banker who had spent years trying to control Rachel through money. He displayed photographs of the house my husband and I helped Rachel purchase and claimed I expected permanent obedience in exchange.

The change cost me more emotionally than the court filing.

Two days later, Caroline called.
